It All Started as a Pipedream.

Julie Garman, founder of Pipedream Studio, developed an interest in all things artistic while growing up outside of Scranton, PA.  After gaining admission into the Communication Design program at Kutztown University by drawing a picture of her reflection in a water faucet, Julie made her way through college at the dawn of the computer age—the late 90’s!

After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Julie held design positions at various ad agencies in Lancaster and Boston, where she worked on accounts that included Boston Medical Center, Comcast, Tyco and other major corporations.  After tiring of the corporate grind, she launched Pipedream Studio, a graphic and web design firm, in the back corner of her Boston loft in 1999.

The next phase of Pipedream began in 2011 when Julie’s husband, Andy Garman, a Lititz native, began to provide marketing and business development strategy for Pipedream’s clients.

Andy’s extensive marketing experience includes a tenure as V.P. of Sales for a home technology firm, where he successfully helped the business double in size.  In addition, as V.P. of a regional performing arts center, Andy led the reinvention of the company’s marketing strategy—leading to two of the businesses’ best years ever.

Most recently, Andy held a position as Strategic Director with one of Lancaster, PA's leading ad agencies. And interestingly enough, he has also guest lectured at Harvard University and mixed sound for Grammy-winning recording artist John Mayer.

Today, Julie, Andy and a team of partners are proud to serve small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profits in Central PA and beyond.
